Short-term car leasing, explained
How long are short-term leases?
Fixed contracts, typically from 6 up to 24 months, on brand new vehicles with full manufacturer warranty.
What is the Initial Rental?
Most short-term leases have an Initial Rental — an upfront payment, shown alongside the ongoing monthly price on every vehicle card. Quotes for a lower initial rental are available, though this will raise the monthly price accordingly.
What happens at the end of the lease?
You can return the vehicle at no extra cost, arrange collection, swap onto a new vehicle the same day, or in some cases extend the contract — subject to buyback conditions.
Can I choose the exact colour?
Specific individual vehicles can’t always be requested to order, but you can usually provide three preferred colour options and we’ll match as closely as possible.
How quickly can I get a decision?
Credit decisions typically come back within 2–4 hours once your documentation is complete. We consider individuals, sole traders, partnerships and companies, including non-status applicants assessed on affordability.
