Long-Term Car Hire

A cheaper alternative to leasing

Long-term car hire covers everything from small hatchbacks to executive saloons, SUVs, hybrids and premium models — from 1 month, with the best pricing on hires of 90 days or more. It's a genuinely more flexible, often cheaper alternative to a traditional lease or contract hire agreement.

Who it suits

Relocating, between contracts, or just don't want to commit

Long-term car hire is well suited to individuals seeking an alternative to a fixed lease, those relocating for work, and businesses needing vehicles for staff without adding to a long-term fleet. Corporate accounts with agreed credit limits are available on request.

What's not included

Unlike a subscription, insurance is not included — you'll need your own fully comprehensive or fleet policy, with the vehicle added to the Motor Insurance Database. See our Insurance page for partner options.

FAQs

Long-term car hire, explained

Is insurance included in long-term car hire?
No — insurance is not included on any of our long-term car hire products. You’ll need fully comprehensive or fleet cover, with the vehicle registered on the Motor Insurance Database (MID).
How quickly can I get the car?
If the vehicle is in physical stock, delivery can be arranged in as little as 3–5 working days.
Is maintenance included?
This varies by product tier — some vehicles include maintenance as standard, with additional coverage available for a monthly fee on others. We’ll confirm exactly what’s included at the point of quote.
How do I pay?
The first payment is taken in advance via BACS, CHAPS or credit card (including Amex). Ongoing payments run by Direct Debit, which typically qualifies for a discount.
How much notice do I need to give to end the hire?
Just 5 working days’ notice is required to return the vehicle, and contracts can continue automatically if you don’t give notice.
